Eyebrows.
Permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing that uses precise techniques to implant pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. It is designed to enhance or correct features that would otherwise require daily makeup application. Also known as:
Permanent cosmetic, cosmetic tattooing, and micropigmentation.
The term permanent refers to the stability of the pigment once implanted. However, results are not everlasting. Longevity varies from person to person and depends on factors such as:
- Lifestyle
- Skin type
- Health
- Environmental exposure
- Pigment type and brand
Techniques
Microblading
Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed using a manual hand tool, rather than a machine. This technique creates fine, hair-like strokes that mimic natural eyebrow hairs and deposits pigment into the upper dermal layer of the skin.
Powder Brows / Shading
A machine technique that softly shades the brows, similar to filling them in with powdered makeup.
Ombre Brows
A machine-shaded brow that gradually transitions from lighter at the front to darker toward the tail for a soft, blended effect.
Combo Brows
A customized blend of techniques, manual and/or machine designed to create individualized results for each client.
Nano Brows A machine-based technique that creates ultra-fine, hair-like strokes using a single-needle cartridge. Nano brows offer the realism of microblading with improved longevity and retention, making them suitable for all skin types, including oily, combination, and mature skin.
