Thick / Smokey Eyeliner

How long does it last?
Eyeliner tattoo results typically last 1–3 years, depending on implantation depth, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and pigment choice.
Pigment gradually softens and fades over time. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain shape and intensity.

Results are visible immediately. Mild swelling may last 2–4 days, but most clients return to normal activities right away.
For the first 48–72 hours, avoid excessive heat, heavy sweating, and rubbing the eyes.

Healing timeline
- Healing time: 7–10 days
- Color fades 30–50% as healing completes
- Swelling and redness are normal initially
- Mild stinging may occur for a few days
A follow-up touch-up is necessary to perfect shape and color, and can be completed 8–12 weeks after the initial appointment.

Scabbing & flaking
- Scabs may appear dark and thick initially
- Flaking and patchiness are normal
- Do not pull scabs from lashes
- Allow scabs to fall off naturally

Swelling care
- Swelling may occur for up to 3 days
- Gentle eye movement may help reduce puffiness
- Apply soft gel ice packs as needed
Pre-care
- No alcohol 24 hours prior
- Avoid sun and tanning one week prior
- Avoid Aspirin, Advil, Vitamin E, and Niacin 24 hours prior
- No lash extensions, perms, or tinting
- Discontinue Retin-A one week prior
- No Botox around the eye area for 2 weeks
- No caffeine on the day of your appointment
